Insight: Forbidden love
Being in love and not being allowed to love, due to circumstances out of your control.
I created a quick painting on fishes to show the couple's love that they have for each other but cannot fully explore their feelings towards each other.

Society not wanting their love.
Montague and capulet conflict, does not accept their love, and shuns them.
Bi racial love, can receive hate from people.
Ideas trump has vocally said, has brought up the conversation on immigration and illegal immigrants. I could use this idea of a person with documents and one without to also depict how society view this union.

Insight: Two star crossed lovers (Fate)
'Death-marke'd love'.
No matter what, their love was never going to be.
The idea of just missing what could have been if things were different.
From these thoughts I developed my idea. Looking more into the good and bad of the play, Love and death.
The three day romance ended with seven deaths.
The insight I left with after the pitch is : LOVE BLOSSOMS DEATH
Love in the play causes death in the play.
Brian and Derek both thought my art direction moon board contained string visual communication. Brian proposed this idea on love and the opposite of love. The clashing of the opposites, good and bad.
The idea of having two opposite intrigue me and is something I want to explore.
From my moon board, looking at collaging. having two words to describe is balance chaos.
Using text and imagery to convey my message. Maybe using an overload of text like the image on the bottom right on my moon board.
