Above you can see some themes everyone in the class came up with.
This exercise helped explore more ideas.
(There is writing after the images)
Above are all my sketches. They also contain my thoughts and ideas.
I started to jot down my ideas and campaign ideas. I create little sketches of my ideas to help me visualise my ideas. The first page illustrates a rose bleeding. Red roses can represent love. The rose illustrates the pain of the couples love as the rose melts away with the blood.
I looked at all the deaths in the play and what caused them. As my idea looks at Love and death.
I looked at an idea of consequence.
As a consequence of love this occurs.
As a consequence of these events/actions this occurs.
This idea of consequence came up in a conversation with Abbie. She shared the idea of depicting the consequence, that love has on the body.
So i looked at effects love has on the body.
Pupils dilating and the two main chemicals that makes us feel good.
As I liked the idea of a red line to show fate and love, I developed my idea by creating sketching out some ideas for an animation.
Two hands coming together and finding love, then something happing to represent death.
Abbie saw these sketches and saw a link between prayer and death.
Adding a heart to the hands to create a religious aspect and to also link it death. Through the visual language, the hands touching each other then reflecting
them horizontally, to show death.
