Illustrator Workshop with Abbie

We had a workshop with Abbie.

The guy above, grant got a new haircut and a cool background. I used the ellipse tool to create the circles and the brush for my abstract shapes.

The workshop let me explore Adobe illustrator, using the brush tool.

Playing around with tools in one way I've learnt to also gain some knowledge on how to learn how to use software.

Using the images we had taken we had to create something in illustrator.

I experimented with text. Playing with the placement and the size of the text.

The first image, on the top left has been image traced to achieve this look. The outlines of most of the plasters has been lost, but the shading created really makes the baby's face stand out.

The black and white diagonal line, screams attention from any passing eyes.

(Image above ) I feel like the image is too busy. Although the pink writing stands out from the black background. Although the text is quite small and the font used is not too bold, this causes a bit too much noise.

You could say there is too much going on within the image, the text, all the small heads.
