We created a persona that embodies Peckham.
What kind of person would they be?
How would they act?
Their interests?
This allowed us to look deeper into what makes up Peckham and its traits.
Finding the answers to these questions, lets us scratch beneath the surface and find out that Peckham is :
-Grimy
-A softie at heart
-warm yet cold
My initial ideas.
You are able to see, my ideas jotted down in sketchbook. (Images above)

Peckham has a character.
Culture, vibrance and grimy.
I don't want to take away something as fundamental as it character, instead I want to show off Peckham's charm in my website. This could be done through the background or the typography.
It has an old school vibe to it and has a twang that is apart of its charm.
Its combination of its roughness mixed in with the new gentrified, is an interesting mix.
The font used for Peckhamplex, has character. Yes it might not be an amazing typeface, but it does embody Peckham pretty well.
The bold black outline. gives the felling of strength and loudness.
The thick weight of the lettering, makes it hard to miss. Showing us how proud it is.
I feel like Peckham still has its old school vibe, but with the times new things have arrived to the area, and if this might eradicate Peckhams roots? I believe it has the possible to, but it could also be a possibility to adapt to change and grow with it. I believe the people of Peckham wont sit by idly and let drastic things occur.
At night time, you mainly now just see white drunk people freely roaming the high street, which is a change from being afraid you might get stabbed or robbed.
Places such as franks cafe, The Bussy building, Peckham levels, Peckham springs, the four quarters and john the unicorn, has shifted the area into the new stage
Each place coming with it own pros.
Bringing in a new range of people.
Allowing for more events to occur.
Allowing more opportunities.
Letting creative people to have a space to work in.
